  • 55 New Bluemercury Stores Planned Across the U.S., Macy's Says

    Macy's Inc., pleased so far with the performance of Bluemercury , is pushing for more.
    The cosmetics brand, acquired by Macy's for $210 million in 2015, will open about 55 new stores through 2019 - maintaining the chain's pace of expansion.
    Macy's "plans to open approximately 25 Bluemercury freestanding stores in 2018. The company expects to open approximately 30 freestanding stores and locations within Macy's stores in 2019," spokeswoman Blair Rosenberg said Tuesday in an email.
