• Chicago sees murder rate fall 20% for September

    The Chicago Police Department released their crime statistics for September on Monday, showing a big dip in crime.
    Compared to September 2017, there have been 18 fewer murders and 68 fewer shooting victims.
    The department attributes this dip to new crime-fighting technology and the hiring of nearly 1,000 officers this year.
