    LONDON - The EU's chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier will meet with Northern Irish politicians on Friday as European and UK negotiators try to reach an agreement on how to preserve the open Irish border.
    The European Council's next summit, where the Brexit deal was originally supposed to be signed off, will take in place in less than two weeks time in Brussels on Thursday, October 18.
